In a surprise appearance at the end of the 3-D panel discussion for the upcoming Tim Burton remake of Alice In Wonderland, Johnny Depp got the cameras flashing when he walked out to see the fans.

Tim Burton was also welcomed warmly by fans for the panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, and with Johnny Depp playing the infamous Mad Hatter, this has the shaping of an awesome film. Tim Burton said he combined many different movie making technologies to make the film, although very minimal stop motion animation was used.

Burton said the “Alice in Wonderland” film doesn’t stick exactly to the book by Lewis Carroll, but instead takes the characters and various scenes from the book and molds them into an updated story.

According to IMDB, the new Alice In Wonderland movie is due out March 5th of 2010.

The hit show’s 99th episode aired last night with more than just entertaining dances moves, SYTYCD also helped bring more awareness to what women face fighting  Breast Cancer.  As contestants Melissa Sandvig and Ade Obayomi brought to life a dance illustrating  the struggles and hardships a women and her partner go through while fighting such a devastating disease.

Tyce DiOrio an Emmy nominated choreographer chose the inspiring platform of dance to make his comment on such a tremendous battle.  If you missed the episode last night you can see the beauitful and inspired dance below.

There are definitley physical similarities between speculated fourth son and Jackson, but until the DNA test that Bhatti is taking part in is concluded, a rumor is exactly how the story will remain.

In a press release (released just before the opening day of Comic-Con), Blizzard stated the following:

“Raimi, acclaimed director of the blockbuster Spider-Man series, will bring the forces of the Horde and the Alliance to life in epic live-action film. Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment will produce alongside Raimi’s Stars Road Entertaiment.”

I’ll give the WoW crowd a moment to gather themselves.

Blizzard also states in the release that further details including cast details and the release date, will be announced “as development progresses”.

Knowing the massive potential for profit, it probably won’t be that far off.

Some are predicting further details will be announced at the upcoming and hugely popular Blizz-Con gathering in August in Anaheim, CA.

The District Attorney said in a statement made earlier today that the decision to not prosecute was made after a full investigation that included speaking with uncooperative witnesses.  Both parties involved had issued a joint statement that they had resolved the issue just weeks after the initial incident. After the case was dropped today Sutherland’s attorney declined to make any comment.

Since the charges have now been dropped there won’t be any interference with the probation term Sutherland is currently serving out after his DUI conviction in L.A. back in 2007.

In an effort to strengthen their bid for control of Jackson’s estate, attorney John Branca and business executive John McClain are talking to AEG Live about selling videotape of Jackson’s rehearsals that could be used to produce a movie or DVD.

Branca and McClain are the two people named in the 2002 will that Michael Jackson signed, which currently holds temporarily true until the King’s mega estate is figured out by the courts. By being in talks to sell the rehearsal footage (reportedly for upwards of $60 million dollars), legal analysts say that it establishes that the two have the wherewithal to capitalize on Jackson’s estate.

Reports have been leaked that Sony Pictures Entertainment, a unit of the Japanese based Sony, is said to be the lead studio for the deal as they do control some rights to Jackson’s recordings.

Control of the MJ estate is bringing the fierce competition due to the fact that even though it was nearly $500 million in debt, the total assets cover that plus an extra couple hundred million, at least.

It’s still not clear, according to Katherine Jackson’s attorney Londell McMillan, if she will officially challenge the will and/or seek a 3rd party co-executor.

World famous salsa singer and all around smooth guy, Marc Anthony, is now officially partial owner of the Miami Dolphins football club. Joining other well known celebs who are already part owners of the team, Marc became interested in taking ownership of a team three years ago. Marc Anthony becomes the latest celebrity owner next to Gloria and Emilio Estefan, and of course, Jimmy Buffet.

Marc stated that he was passionate about sports from growing up in a sports family (his Godfather being former NY Giants coach Jim Fassel). After approaching owner Stephen Ross a few months back, Marc had his sights set on accomplishing this goal.

He will be performing the national anthem at the October 12th home game against the Jets.

Tyler Perry

After hearing about the group of 65 minority children from a daycare in Northeastern Philadelphia being told that they couldn’t swim in a primarily white swimming club after only a week of swimming there, Tyler Perry decided to brighten up the children’s summer on his own dime.

He ended up sending them all to Disney World, on his tab, of course. Everything was paid by Tyler including airfare, hotel, food – the works. It will probably be one of the best vacations of their young lives without a doubt. Tyler scored some MAJOR “awwwww” points from the ladies, no doubt.

The mostly white swimming club, Valley Swim Club, is going to have more than swimming on their minds in the future. It has been reported that Creative Steps daycare is pursuing a Federal civil rights law suit against the swim club.
