World famous salsa singer and all around smooth guy, Marc Anthony, is now officially partial owner of the Miami Dolphins football club. Joining other well known celebs who are already part owners of the team, Marc became interested in taking ownership of a team three years ago. Marc Anthony becomes the latest celebrity owner next to Gloria and Emilio Estefan, and of course, Jimmy Buffet.

Marc stated that he was passionate about sports from growing up in a sports family (his Godfather being former NY Giants coach Jim Fassel). After approaching owner Stephen Ross a few months back, Marc had his sights set on accomplishing this goal.

He will be performing the national anthem at the October 12th home game against the Jets.
